An MA student at Platform One is currently looking into the attitudes towards the practice of sampling in popular music and is gathering primary research through an online questionnaire.

This short study is about attitudes towards the practice of sampling in popular music. For the sake of clarity, referring specifically to the sampling of existing, recorded, commercial music as part of the process for creating new musical works, as opposed to other applications of digital sampling technology, or commercially available "royalty free" samples.
